Okay, now for the biggest thing in here: The Battle System.
Battling is easy, if you follow the rules.
First off, the area is not bound by panels and barriers and such, but is wide open and limitless, with various obstacles for hiding, breaking, and pushing. Use these for your advantage. Size may also be determined by mods and admins in special situations. While sometimes obstacles will be placed by mods and admins, you generally create some for your own use, BUT THEY REMAIN THERE FOREVER, OR UNTIL DESTRUCTION. So be careful what you do. This also requires the ability to create obstacles. So don't get carried away.
Next are the dodge and HP system. Your dodges and blocks are seperated into two systems, and everyone starts off with 3 dodges 3 blocks. These can be fancy or normal moving aside and blocking. The maximum ammount of blocks and dodges is 10 each, though some plot-related-characters will have more, but with effects... Run out of blocks and dodges? No worries! Simply getting hit completely replenishes your dodge and block count.
The HP system is also simple. You can begin with a minimum of 100 HP, or a maximum of 600 HP. While Mods and Admins are not bound by these beginning HP boundaries, they should set at least one example with one of their navis. Once your HP runs out, you lose, but HP can be replenished with Recovery Chips or abilities.
HP and Dodges should appear at the beginning of every post as so:
HP: 100
Dodge: 3/3
Block: 3/3
Next are the attacks. Attacks are seperated by four classes: Standard, Mega, Giga, and Secret.
Standard: attacks range from 0 to 200 damage.
Mega: from 200 to 500.
Giga: from 500 to 999.
Secret: from 0 to 999.
At the end of each attack, please put your attack, attack class, and damage in brackets like so:
<-Standard Chip - Cannon Damage: 40->
Brackets don't necessarily have to resemble that perfectly, but the Chip or Skill recognition, name, and damage must remain.
Simple, right?
Now for a battle example!
HP: 100
Dodges: 3/3
Normal Navi one logs in and approaches his opponent. Summoning a sword, he slashes with all his might.
<-Standard Chip - Sword Damage: 80->
HP: 100
Dodges: 2/3
Normal Navi two runs to the side and fires with his blaster.
<-Standard Attack - BlasterTwo Damage: 50->
HP: 50
Dodges: 3/3
Normal Navi one is hit and replies with a cannon.
HP: 60
Dodges: 3/3
Normal Navi two is hit, replenishing his dodging capabilities. He quickly responds with a sword, an instant log-out if his opponent is hit.
HP: 0
Dodges: -/-
NORMAL NAVI ONE LOGOUT.
That was only an example, but you get the idea.
Now a High Stakes battle is different. In these, you have unlimited HP, but each person has 10 posts. At the end of 10 posts, the one who has sustained the most damage loses, so please keep tabs on damage like so:
Damage: 100
You still have three dodges/blocks, however.
In high stakes battles you can:
Bet half your folder.
Bet your pack.
Bet all your Zenny
Bet all your un-used power-ups
Bet all your Giga, Standard, or Mega chips
Winner takes whatever was bet. Now that you have the basics and the example, have fun~!
