*It wears off now...*
But he was gone... he had already appeared behind Syn and had used his special "Explode" attack!

((Sorry, I'm just out of it. I was planning on making Ark intervene, but I'll stall for a bit longer... However, it gives me the chance to Beta-Test a type of battle... If you don't mind that is))
Syn tried to dodge the explosion, but he was too slow, getting him caught up in the blast. However, instead of retaliating, he brushed off the dust, and offered a challenge...
"You're pretty good... But it's time to heat things up!"
Syn suddenly had a large amount of energy emmanate from him, creating a large aura. The navigator suddenly took a battle stance, wanting to see if his opponent would like to try something new...
~~H-T BATTLE INVITE~~
((The gist of it: No stats withing the battle, with the exception of dodges and blocks. The one with the higher stats before the battle has the advantage. We also go to a wicked cool arena))

((...Guide me through it. If I like it, I'll make it a permanent battle type))
Solus' eyes narrowed. This was new. For once, he felt challenged... not by the opponent, but by the attack.

Suddenly, Syn's aura rapidly expanded, taking the whole area he was in with it. The program within his Black Frag had been activated.
The duo were no longer in the Undernet... Or at least, they were, but the area had changed. They had been locked out from the outside world, and nobody would be able to enter. Outside this arena, there was a large distortion that took a 3 panel radius. The area that Syn and Solus were in was actually this 3 panel distortion.
Back with the fighters, they suddenly fund themselves floating in some sort of digital space. It was dark, but it was light at the same time. The darkness had a strange green glow, as if the data had started to show itself. There were also many lights, which were in fact superglowing data strands. Suddenly, Syn dashed forward, as if the empty space could be stepped on. He took out his blades, and performed a clean lateral cut. As he did so, his blades seemed to drag along the data of the area, and seemed to form aftershadows.
(-(Attack - Twin Cut)-)
After the slash, Syn quickly jumped backwards, and spun around, flinging his blades at the same area again. The blades had a slight spin, so after they had reached the designated area, they slowly started to seperate. After performing this task, Sympathy ran at an incredible speed, aided by his wings, and caught his blades in midair, turning back once more to see if Solus was still there.((It's sorta like fights at BNU or EXE, but a bit more epic. You can walk anywhere, even on "ceilings". Your attacks can be moddish, as long as they don't become cheap. Dodges can also be pretty cool. If you want, you don't even need to write much.))

Solus grabbed the blade, blood splurting everywhere as the attack was ceased, then he melted into the nothingness.
Syn was in for it now. There was nowhere to hide from a Network God. ".ecnetsixe esaeC" Using his hacking abilities, he mixed a few moves into one massive combo, and began the attack on the soloist.
His voice echoed throughout the nothingness, so Syn would be unable to locate him that way... and it had seemed his data had become one with the area. So any sort of cursor attacks also wouldn't help much...
<Explosion, Just Scimitar, Intangibility, COMBO>
The orbs of fire crashed loudly with the "air" and moved at astonishing speed toward Syn. And from beneath, Solus grabbed Syn's feet, pulling him into the darkness.
Where he would be now is Solus' domain.
Nowhere.
They were nowhere and everywhere, this was an area of negative space picked up as a mere distortion in the internet no bigger than a virus. In simpler terms, they had been shrunk! Solus came from every direction at great speeds, slashing and hacking away with the blade, and finally finishing with a powerful swipe at Syn's back. After the assault, if Syn didn't dodge, he'd forcibly fall to his knees, and after that, fall face down on the ground, as the two were returned to the "arena" brought out by Syn.

((Sorry I'm not posting... It's a mix of not having time, and a revamping of Syn's skills. I'll answer soon enough))
((EDIT: Well, because of the move, I'll hurry up anyway. Editing...))
Syn began to stress a bit when the enemy disappeared, but he knew that he had to keep his head cool in these sort of situations... However, when he was grabbed and pulled into the abyss, he began to panic... And the panic fed something greater...
When he arrived inside the void, Solus believed that his God status would enable him to kill Syn while within the god's realm... However, little did he know that it was also Syn's, by proxy.
The orbs of fire flew by, but somehow, even their great speed wasn't enough, as they flew past Syn, missing him by milimeters. The blade attacks also arrived, but somehow, every strike seemed to hit, but they missed... And Missed... And Missed... Finally, the last strike came in from behind, but as soon as it was near Syn, it stopped... The blade was caught with one hand, by what seemed to be Syn... Or it looked like him... Something ominous was about... Syn had been taken over by Dirges, the Dark Emmisiary.
"Falling to pieces..."
Suddenly, he dashed forward, through the abyss. When he reached the edge, the void melted away, returning the two fighters back at the arena. He kept dashing however, until he reached Solus. That's when he began to hack and slash at an incredible speed. In just a few seconds, he managed to attack 75 times, but it was unknown if he had hit Solus. He then [FREEHIT]grabbed the enemy by the neck[/FREEHIT], and allowed energy to flow through both of them. He then flew high up, still holding Solus, and dashed back down, slaming back on the ground, causing a large dome of energy to appear. This dome then began to create a vortex of energy in the middle. When it disappeared, the energy disappeared, absorbed by Syn... As well as the arena. The special area that they were fighting in had been reabsorbed into the mirror fragment Syn posssesed, ending their battle... It was because Syn had Oversouled that he decided to leave. He ran away, not looking back.
((Sorry I had to end it. I'm trying to speed up the moving process. Anyway, that's a preview of the High Tension Battle.))

Solus pulled some quick manuvers and dodged each attack, before looking deep into the Navi's core. He was not one, but two. "Beware the Halo." Were his last words as he faded away.

The pathway had been redirected to the black halo HQ by Rezo, who had been watching from the other side of the portal, just before Syn had gone through. (go to other site for the password and for the event.)
